Poland Convention Bureau was created in 2002 as a department of Polish Tourism Organisation and is responsible for the promotion of Poland as an attractive destination for meetings and business events.
We are the first contact for anyone seeking information on business partners and conference facilities, who is planning to organize association congress or a corporate event in Poland.
Our main goal is to build the image of Poland as an attractive country for organising of all types of business events. We realize our mission through:
participating in international business fairs, which results in gaining new business contacts;
organising study tours for foreign journalists and organizers of meetings and business events, including conferences, congresses, product launches, incentives;
gaining new business events for Poland;
cooperating with foreign media and posting articles and advertisements promoting Poland as a business destination in business press and directories;
cooperating with city convention bureaux;
networking with Polish business sector within Recommendation Program for Professional Congress Organizers, Recommendation Program for Incentive Travel Companies;
networking with the Polish scientific community within Polish Congress Ambassadors Program;
cooperating with international organisations and associations of meeting industry professionals;
collection and elaboration of statistical data on Polish meeting industry, in accordance with the recommendations of international organisations such as ICCA - International Congress and Convention Association and the UIA - Union of International Associations, engaged in similar rankings.
The Polish Tourism Organization is a member of the meetings industry associations: International Congress and Convention Association and Union of International Associations.
On November 11-14, 2018, the 57th ICCA Congress was held in Dubai. Poland was represented by Polish Tourism Organization - Poland Convention Bureau, Symposium Cracoviense, ICE Kraków, Lublin & Region CVB, EXPO XXI Warsaw and Poznań International Fair.
“CEEM 2019” Central European Emergency Medicine, the 7th International Congress of the Polish Society for Emergency Medicine, and the 28th Winter Conference of Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care will all be held in Jelenia Góra on 20-23 March 2019 at the initiative of the Polish Society for Emergency Medicine.
The 3rd Kraków Congress of Medical Tourism will be held at ICE Kraków Congress Centre on 22-23 October 2018. Staged by Polish Tourism Organisation, the visit of Ukrainian business partners was a side event of the 3rd Congress of Medical Tourism.

The fifth edition of the Event-Biznes conference, an Events Industry Association project aimed at developing, educating and unifying the meetings industry sector, will be staged at Ptak Warsaw Expo in Nadarzyn on 19 October 2018.
Belgian tour operators opt for Warsaw. The capital of Poland hosted the congress of Selectair, an association of 100 independent travel agencies from Belgium. Polish Tourism Organisation and PLL LOT were the partners of Selectair 2018.

The "Asia Trade Know How" Congress, which took place on September 18-19, 2017 at Expo-Mazury, was the best event in 2017 indicated by the Convention Bureau Masuria in the “Poland Meetings and Events Industry Report 2018”.
Confirmation of this is the 8th Annual Conference of the Association of Business Service Leaders (ABSL) represents the sector of advanced business-oriented services, indicated in Poland Mettings and Events Industry Report 2018 as a the best event in Łódź in 2017.
Last year, 1824 meetings and events took place in Lublin. The most important event for the region was the European Innovation Week, which brought together more than 1,300 participants.
In 2017 Poznań Convention Bureau submitted to Polish Tourism Organisation information about 2,389 staged meetings and events. The greatest success of the Poznań industry was organization two important events: the Central European Exhibition of Dental Products CEDE and the First Congress of the Union of Polish Dentistry.
In 2017 Warsaw Convention Bureau submitted to Polish Tourism Organisation information about 9,024 meetings and events attended by at least 50 delegates.
As in previous years Polish Tourism Organisation Poland Convention Bureau compiled a report dedicated to the Polish meetings industry. Data presented in this year’s edition cover more than 22,000 meetings and events.
The fourth edition of the Business Without Limits congress was staged at G2A Arena Exhibition & Congress Centre in the Podkarpackie voivodeship on 20-21 June 2018.
