The 10th International Congress of the Polish Society for Vascular Surgery, one of this year’s most important medical events in Poland, will be held in Warsaw on 14-16 June.

Organised by PSVS, the International Congress of the Polish Society for Vascular Surgery has been systematically growing in prominence to become the most important meeting of the community of vascular surgeons and other specialties treating blood vessel diseases. In June Warsaw will for the second time already host several hundred foreign and domestic participants. Numerous eminent speakers from our country plus specialists from European institutions will showcase the latest medical accomplishments and the effects of their everyday efforts.

It is worth recalling that this year saw Piotr Szopiński, MD, PhD., Head of Department of Vascular Surgery at the Institute of Haematology and Transfusion Medicine in Warsaw, President of the Polish Society for Vascular Surgery, receive the title of a Polish Congress Ambassador. In addition, the Polish Congress Ambassadors Programme Chapter, composed of eminent figures representing Polish science, economics and culture, presented the title of Polish Congress Patrons for the very first time. It was awarded to the Adamed Group, which the Polish Society for Vascular Surgery nominated in recognition of its support for the congress in question and for educational activities conducted as part of their partnership. A meeting with all this year’s laureates will be staged during the Gala of Polish Congress Ambassadors in Poznań on 27 September.
