Poland Convention Bureau was created in 2002 as a department of Polish Tourism Organisation and is responsible for the promotion of Poland as an attractive destination for meetings and business events.
We are the first contact for anyone seeking information on business partners and conference facilities, who is planning to organize association congress or a corporate event in Poland.
Our main goal is to build the image of Poland as an attractive country for organising of all types of business events. We realize our mission through:
participating in international business fairs, which results in gaining new business contacts;
organising study tours for foreign journalists and organizers of meetings and business events, including conferences, congresses, product launches, incentives;
gaining new business events for Poland;
cooperating with foreign media and posting articles and advertisements promoting Poland as a business destination in business press and directories;
cooperating with city convention bureaux;
networking with Polish business sector within Recommendation Program for Professional Congress Organizers, Recommendation Program for Incentive Travel Companies;
networking with the Polish scientific community within Polish Congress Ambassadors Program;
cooperating with international organisations and associations of meeting industry professionals;
collection and elaboration of statistical data on Polish meeting industry, in accordance with the recommendations of international organisations such as ICCA - International Congress and Convention Association and the UIA - Union of International Associations, engaged in similar rankings.
The Polish Tourism Organization is a member of the meetings industry associations: International Congress and Convention Association and Union of International Associations.
From June 23-25, professional event planners from Germany took part the fam trip in Warsaw, a gathering designed to give them a taste of what the city has to offer as meetings destination. Organised by Travel Projekt DMC Poland in cooperation of Lufthansa, Hilton Worldwide, Warsaw Convention Bureau and Polish Tourist Organisation in Berlin and Poland Convention Bureau PTO.
Travel Project DMC Poland received recommendation of PCB PTO for the next two years as a professional incentive travel company. The aim of the recommendation Programme is to identify and support entities which provide professional and comprehensive services in organising and holding congresses in Poland.
Sarath Wattdegara, managing director at Sunray Travels & Consultancy, attended a fam trip to Warsaw on 4-6 June. The Swedish company specialises in counselling and comprehensive services aimed at visitors from Sweden and Asia travelling to Europe.

The recently launched Poland Meetings Impact project is Poland’s first and the world’s seventh study intended to estimate the economic value of the meetings sector.
On the 20-22 of May 2016 Hilton Worldwide in cooperation of Poland Concept DMC ,Warsaw Convention Bureau and Poland Convention Bureau PTO organized a Fam Trip for 10 representatives of the UK agencies. Their goal was to get to know more about Warsaw and its meeting industry potential.

Poznań Congress Center is a modern congress, exhibition, sporting and entertainment venue. It offers 150 000 sqm of interlinked space including almost 80 conference rooms, 16 exhibition halls of which the biggest one can host more than 11 000 participants, plenary hall for 2000 pax and an open space.

As each year, the Poland Convention Bureau of the Polish Tourist Organization organizes the national stand for the international IBTM exhibition in Barcelona (D70) to be held on 17 - 19 November 2015.
On 13 – 15 October this year, the fifth edition of IMEX America was held. At the national stand over 60 meetings were held with people interested in Poland as a venue of conferences, congresses or incentive travels.
