The next edition of IBTM, the international meetings industry trade fair was held on 17-20 November in Barcelona. As each year, Poland Convention Bureau of Polish Tourist Organisation has organised the Polish national booth, where regional Convention Bureaus, companies operating in the organisation of meetings and conference facilities presented their offers.

During the three days of the exhibition, PCB PTO has participated in 50 individual meetings, with organizers interested in Poland as a New destinantion for their events In 2017 and 2018. Among the cities Warsaw, Kraków, Gdańsk and Poznań were most popular for visitiors. More than 60 persons were present during group presentations. Promotional partners included: Gdańsk Convention Bureau and Poznań Congress Center.

The presence of the Polish exhibitors and their customers has been an excellent opportunity to join in the celebration of the 15th anniversary of the Polish Tourist Organization. During the third day of the trade show on the Polish national stand held the birthday cake tasting.
