Poland Convention Bureau was created in 2002 as a department of Polish Tourism Organisation and is responsible for the promotion of Poland as an attractive destination for meetings and business events.
We are the first contact for anyone seeking information on business partners and conference facilities, who is planning to organize association congress or a corporate event in Poland.
Our main goal is to build the image of Poland as an attractive country for organising of all types of business events. We realize our mission through:
participating in international business fairs, which results in gaining new business contacts;
organising study tours for foreign journalists and organizers of meetings and business events, including conferences, congresses, product launches, incentives;
gaining new business events for Poland;
cooperating with foreign media and posting articles and advertisements promoting Poland as a business destination in business press and directories;
cooperating with city convention bureaux;
networking with Polish business sector within Recommendation Program for Professional Congress Organizers, Recommendation Program for Incentive Travel Companies;
networking with the Polish scientific community within Polish Congress Ambassadors Program;
cooperating with international organisations and associations of meeting industry professionals;
collection and elaboration of statistical data on Polish meeting industry, in accordance with the recommendations of international organisations such as ICCA - International Congress and Convention Association and the UIA - Union of International Associations, engaged in similar rankings.
The Polish Tourism Organization is a member of the meetings industry associations: International Congress and Convention Association and Union of International Associations.
Kinga Soćko from Poland Convention Bureau Polish Tourist Organisation has won a scholarship in a competition held as part of the Larry Lee Memorial Scholarship.
"The significance of the meetings industry in Krakow’s economy" was the leading theme of the conference closing the KRAKÓW IMPACT project, aimed to evaluate and monitor the impact of the Meetings Industry on the city’s economy.

The 4th edition of the CSR “Back to the Garden” project is already over. We spent two busy days at the Home for Children managed by the Our Home Association in Ostrów near Przemyśl, where we transformed the green areas surrounding the Home.

It is time for the next international IMEX fair. The meetings industry from all over the world will meet on 20-22 May in Frankfurt to promote their destinations and products. As each year, Poland Convention Bureau of the Polish Tourist Organisation arranges the Polish national stand G400, which will feature offers presented by regional Convention Bureaux, companies organising meetings and conference facilities.

The 22nd Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity will take place as early as on 12 January. This is a one-day public fund-raising organised by the Foundation of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, which traditionally takes place on the second Sunday of January each year.
Another company - Jan Pol DMC Poland – has been added to the group of professional incentive travel organisers recommended by the Poland Convention Bureau POT. The aim of the recommendation Programme is to identify and support entities which provide professional and comprehensive services in organising and holding incentive travel in Poland. To receive such recommendation, a company must provide appropriate documentation confirming professionalism in its operations. Such a recommendation gives the companies another possibility to promote and to participate in presentations, study visits and other events organised by PCB POT.
