Kinga Soćko from Poland Convention Bureau Polish Tourist Organisation has won a scholarship in a competition held as part of the Larry Lee Memorial Scholarship.

 

The prize will allow Kinga Soćko to participate in IMEX America, an international meetings industry tradeshow that takes place in Las Vegas (14-16 October 2014), and in the Future Leaders Forum that accompanies it.

“I have known IMEX America for several years. I am delighted to be able to participate in a programme prepared by experts from around the world, see Las Vegas and promote Poland. It is a great honour to me. I will also promote the MPI EMEC conference in Kraków, which will take place in February 2015.” she sums up.

 

The Larry Lee Memorial Scholarship is a result of cooperation and financial support of friends and business associations that operate within the MPI Foundation. The Foundation has set up the programme to commemorate Larry Lee, a professional of the meetings industry as well as COO and founder of Encore Productions, who died in December 2011. The programme ensures scholarships for students who want to participate in IMEX America and is meant to boost the opportunities offered to young leaders on the threshold of their careers in the meetings and events industry.
