Poland’s promotional campaign centred on food tourism was just launched in the Italian market. The hashtag motto of #Polognam is a play of words combining “Polonia” (Italian for “Poland”) and “gnam” (Italian for “yum”). The campaign combining social media, infuencer and content marketing ingredients will wrap up in late July.
“Culinary landscape of Poland” is the title of a presentation of select Polish dishes staged by Polish Tourism Organisation in a food court in Moscow’s downtown on 18 May.
Travel bloggers, photo enthusiasts and filmmakers from China visited Poland at the invitation of Polish Tourism Organisation. During their seven-day stay guests toured Warsaw and Lower Silesia. The created materials are intended to introduce Chinese audience to the beauty of springtime Poland.
May 15th to 17th last week, the Polish National Tourist Office had pleasure to participate once again in ITB in Shanghai. It was already the 3rd edition of the event and the number of attendees reached 17 000, including more than 800 exhibitors from 84 countries. The fairs attracted more than 850 buyers from different regions of China, from which 40% were representatives of 2nd and 3rd tier cities, as organizers report.
Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai, the largest travel exhibition in the Arabian market, was launched on Sunday 28 April. As in previous years, POT presented the offer of our country as part of the Polish national stand. The exhibition wrapped up on Wednesday 1 May.
In the unofficial capital of the European Union the anniversary of Poland’s accession to the EU has special significance. This is why the momentous celebrations received a corresponding setting and a main protagonist in the form of the State Folk Group of Song and Dance “Mazowsze”, a world-renowned symbol of Polish cultural heritage. Organised by Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the European Union, the concert was staged in one of the most important buildings seating EU institutions, office of the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union. The event gathered close to 1,000 participants and was honoured by the presence of top-ranking representatives of EU institutions, the Council of the European Union, the European Commission, as well as particular governments’ Permanent Representatives to the European Union.
After the concert in the office of the European Council, ceremonious celebrations were continued in the Representation of the Republic of Poland to the European Union. Gathered guests received special thanks for cultivating and promoting Polish cultural heritage from Mateusz Morawiecki, Prime Minister of Poland.
The presence of the Mazowsze ensemble in Brussels was commemorated by a photograph taken by the renowned Schuman Square in the very heart of the European quarter.
Organisation of celebrations of the fifteenth anniversary of the Republic of Poland’s accession to the European Union was made possible thanks to the support of partner institutions and patronage of the National Support Centre for Agriculture, PLL LOT, PKN Orlen, PKO BP, Polish Tourism Organisation (Polska Organizacja Turystyczna – POT) and the Polish Institute in Brussels.

The ceremonious premiere of The Royal Tour: Poland, a television special produced and hosted by renowned journalist Peter Greenberg for the PBS television programme distributor, was held at Samuel Goldwyn Theatre in Beverly Hills on 15 April. It will provide spectators with an opportunity to learn more about Poland and its history, with Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki acting as their guide.
Polish Tourism Organisation participated in the China Outbound Travel & Tourism Market in Beijing, which celebrated its 15th anniversary. For the first time ever the Polish stand hosted as many as four Polish companies: New World, Real Poland, Funclub and Tarifa travel agencies.
