This comprehensive report, which draws from the UIA’s extensive database, provides crucial insights into how association life is adapting in the post-pandemic era.

Covering meetings held globally in 2023, the report not only highlights recent trends but also examines data from the past two decades, spanning from 2004 to 2023. This long-term perspective allows for a nuanced understanding of the shifts and developments in international meeting patterns, reflecting the broader impacts of the pandemic on global association activities.

The UIA’s International Meetings Statistics Report contains information on:

  • Number of meetings per city and per country
  • Top 100 rankings for the previous year
  • Top 30 rankings over a twenty-year period
  • Trends in participant numbers and meeting dates
  • Trends in meeting size
  • Trends in meeting duration
  • Historical overviews

At present, the report is available exclusively to UIA Associate Members under embargo, with plans to release it to the public in September 2024.
