Routes Europe 2023 Lodz - Destination Marketing and Cooperation with Airlines
Polish Tourism Organisation is the partner of the largest European aviation forum Routes Europe 2023, which will take place in Łódź on May 09-11, 2023. We invite you to a panel discussion on Destination Marketing in the MICE Industry and Cooperation with Airlines.
Routes Europe 2023 is the most prestigious aviation industry event in Europe. The organizers estimate that 1,200 delegates will come to Łódź, including representatives of around 100 airlines and about 300 airports. Over three days, meetings of delegates representing airports, tourism organizations, and airlines are planned, as well as numerous presentations, debates, panel discussions, evening networking events, and attractions and tours for delegates, including a special program for VIPs.
Routes Europe provides a great opportunity to stimulate the development of air connections in the host country. The forum has been held 15 times in cities such as Sofia, Porto, Prague, Toulouse, Cagliari, Tallinn, Budapest, Marseille, Aberdeen, Belfast, Bilbao, Hanover, and Bergen. Poland has hosted Routes Europe delegates twice: in Warsaw in 2006 and in Krakow in 2016.
Łódź applied and was chosen before the pandemic. The Routes Europe forum was scheduled to take place in Łódź in 2021, but the coronavirus caused the events calendar to be postponed by two years. The acquired event in Łódź is an excellent opportunity to promote Poland as a leader of Central Europe for meetings and events.
The organizer of the forum is the British company Informa, based in London, listed on the local stock exchange, dealing with organizing events worldwide and publishing industry publications.

- Carbon footprint in the meetings industry - how to reduce it?
The panel will be moderated by Aneta Książek (LinkedIn), Head of Poland Convention Bureau POT, and Paweł Jurczak (LinkedIn), owner of Creative Poland (the exclusive organizer of meetings and events for the Embraer corporation in Europe).
