For almost 20 years, the Polish Tourism Organisation has been carrying out PCO, ITC and CB Recommendation Programmes, which are included in the annual PCB strategic plan and serve to professionalise the Polish meeting industry by developing professional conference services in Poland, improving knowledge and skills as well as strengthening the professional standing of those active in the market through international cooperation.
In view of the current situation in the meeting industry caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and thus the limited possibility of organising live meetings, the current recommendations are extended until the end of 2022, as had been the case in 2021.

The automatic extension of the recommendations is a way to recognise the contribution of the Recommended organisers and place branding offices in the development of our sector and to appreciate good practices and the highest standards of customer service – despite the odds and inconveniences they face during the pandemic.
In the reality of COVID-19, events are organised differently than in the past. Entities specialising in event planning and organisation, with appropriate experience, technical facilities and a trained staff familiar with current trends (e.g. related to security, sustainability of meetings, hybrid meetings) and allowing a full implementation of congresses and incentive programmes, have a greater chance of obtaining and organising international meetings and events for Poland.
