Premiere of the “Poland Meetings and Events Industry Report 2017”
The main aim of the report is to identify the number and size of meetings and events staged in Poland in 2016 (i.a., social, economic and business).
Cooperation with all regional convention bureaus, recommended congress and incentive travel organisers, venues, and higher education institutions made it possible to collect data from sixteen voivodeships and several dozen venues, as well as to conduct an analysis of 39,566 meetings and events.
In addition to the traditional quantitative-qualitative analysis of meetings, this year’s edition features a preview of material dedicated to the significance of the meetings industry for Polish economy (Poland Meetings Impact 2015, published in March 2017) and the latest summary of data on meetings staged by organisers of congresses and incentive trips recommended by Polish Tourist Organisation.
Once again the Poland Meetings and Events Industry Report uses a wider context to cover several Polish cities submitting the largest number of statistical information and collecting them in a regular cooperation with venues. This year’s Edition distinguishes Gdańsk, Krakow, Poznań, Wrocław, Katowice, Warsaw and Lublin.
