POLAND EVENTS IMPACT 2023 Report to be revealed in April 2024.

The report is released once every five years. Thus far, two reports have been issued, in 2015 and 2019. The Poland Meetings Impact 2015 marked the inaugural publication of its kind in Poland and was the seventh globally to delve into the economic ramifications of the meetings industry on the economy. It provided insights into the significance of the meetings industry in Poland and elucidated the economic advantages derived from hosting events such as conferences, congresses, business meetings, corporate events, trade fairs, and mega-events, benefiting both organizers and the economy.

The POLAND EVENTS IMPACT2023 Report will showcase the economic influence of the meetings industry on the Polish economy. The objective of the Poland Events Impact study was to assess the economic importance of gatherings and events, encompassing social, economic, and business assemblies, conducted within Poland.

The report's unveiling is scheduled for April 3rd, at 12:00 PM, at the Crowne Plaza Warsaw - The HUB.

During the meeting, the following events will take place:

  • Presentation of research findings,
  • A panel discussion featuring representatives from the realms of academia, administration, and commerce,
  • A ceremonial toast commemorating the 5th anniversary of the Mazovia Convention Bureau.

In the past

In 2019 events and meetings planning generated an estimated 1.5% of GDP, with its economic contribution at the level of 35 billion PLN. In 2019 the sector in question contributed 34,595,951,000 PLN to Poland’s economy, while its gross value added was estimated at 14,256,663,200 PLN. Meetings and events lasted two days on average and recorded 16,302,400 attendants (domestic and foreign). The meetings industry’s employment impact involved creating 220,000 jobs.
