This year’s offer of Poland was complemented by a meeting applying the Happy Hours format, staged together by Poland Convention Bureau POT and Polish Airlines LOT. Serving regional snacks, homemade liqueurs and sweets, the organisers made sure to convince all guests that Poland is an attractive and friendly destination worth working with. The Happy Hours event also included a business card raffle with regional products, stays in Poland and souvenir packages funded by exhibitors and Polish business partners as the main awards.

Aneta Książek, Head of Poland Convention Bureau POT, sums up: “The offer of our country to a large degree matches the requirements set by organisers. The list of our advantages includes central location in Europe, continuously expanded network of flights, high safety level, affordable prices, available infrastructure and support provided by convention bureaux and professional organisers of meetings and events. The Polish national stand, traditionally staged under the motto of ‘Polska Smart Move!’, featured a veritable cross-section of our industry. Due to the launch of the National Support Programme for the Meetings Industry, LOT Polish Airlines was for the first time included in the presentation. During numerous meetings its delegates informed about options of taking part in other PLL LOT programmes aimed at the MICE sector, such as LOT Meetings and LOT Conventions”.
