About Ecsite
Ecsite (European Network of Science Centres and Museums) unites organisations and professionals in the field of science, significantly promoting public engagement with science worldwide. The event annually brings together 1,000 employees from European and global science centres, museums, and media related to cultural tourism and the development of science.
In 2023, the conference held in Valetta, Malta, saw representation from 49 countries across 6 continents, making Ecsite a truly global event. Learn more about Ecsite's cyclical events.
Poland's Promotion at the Conference
Our promotion aims to showcase the local collaboration offered by Poland, a country with well-developed infrastructure, accessibility, innovation, and a rich culture and tradition. The stand distributes regional products, and at the end of the conference on 8 June, there will be an official presentation of the host city for ECSITE 2025 and an invitation to Poland.
It is worth highlighting that the conference will be attended by representatives from science centres across Poland, including:
- The Maritime Science Centre in Szczecin
- Hevelianum in Gdańsk
- The Science and Technology Centre EC1 in Łódź
- The Experyment Science Centre in Gdynia
- The Małopolska Science Centre Cogiteon, opening at the end of June 2024
- The Wood Art and Science Centre Xylopolis, set to be established in Wasilków near Białystok, with plans to open by the end of 202
Polish Tourism Organisation - Poland Convention Bureau has supported the acquisition of the conference for Warsaw since 2023, through letters of support and the co-organisation of a study visit to the Polish capital for the Ecsite delegation, which decided on the event's allocation.
Ecsite 2025 Conference in Warsaw
During the Ecsite 2025 conference at the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw, the Polish Tourism Organisation will have the opportunity to organise a regional zone.
