PlanetIMEX launched
Carina Bauer, CEO IMEX Group, emphasizes that we are dealing with a highly original attempt at creating an online platform for meetings and side events that usually accompany the main trade exhibition. Its main goals involve offering industry representatives an opportunity to connect, establish business relations and learn in these hard times.
Online visitors will be able to travel between three visually attractive 3D islands:
- beach-themed Community Island
- forest-inspired Education Island
- Networking Island outfitted with canyons, mountains and valleys.
The virtual EduMonday programming starts on 11 May and will feature workshops and educational lectures. Full agenda and registration info are available here.
The following day, May 12, is IMEX Community Day with the most crucial issues related to the meetings industry discussed during lectures given by international IMEX Group associations. The finale of IMEX-MPI Future Leaders Forum is also scheduled to take place on this day.
14 May will be dedicated to one-on-one meetings, a traditional highpoint of the regular exhibition.
The launch of the brand-new platform is eagerly awaited by the whole industry, expecting it to deliver a substitute of IMEX, one of the most important and largest trade fairs of the meetings sector.
The PlanetIMEX website will continue to develop and evolve to remain relevant for as long as possible. While access is free, earlier registration is required.
Poland Convention Bureau of Polish Tourism Organisation (Polska Organizacja Turystyczna – POT), which for many years hosted Poland’s national stand at IMEX, is now intensively working on Poland: Virtual Site Inspection 2020, an online catalogue of venues available for meetings and events. With launch scheduled for May, the tool will constitute POT’s online activity as part of the PlanetIMEX project.
Let us meet on Planet IMEX!
