New normal – creative workshops in Kraków

Kraków begins a series of interactive presentations "Krakow in a nutshell" strengthening and consolidating Kraków’s overall strategy for international communications as well as transforming the meetings industry under the new normal.

On July 1, 2020, at ICE Kraków studio will take place creative workshop dedicated to the challenges of the global event sector - „Reimagining Events under the New Normal”. The event is hosted by the Krakow Convention Bureau operating in the structures of the City of Kraków.

The workshop will be available on the Krakow Convention Bureau social media profile in the case study formula with the discussion between the invited experts and participants. The topics discussed will concern: key opportunities (evolution, venues & technologies), key challenges (transforming the meetings industry under the new normal), developing resilience as well as content quality & ourtreach.

The last few months have truly redefined the world of industry meetings worldwide. In less than three months innovation has become a survival skill for a lot of event-industry companies and institutions and creativity, resilience, storytelling and emphasis on quality have perhaps never been more important for cities than they are today.

Over the past few years, Kraków has hosted major global events: The 15th World Congress of the Organization of World Heritage Cities (2019), UNESCO Creative Cities Network (2018), The 41st session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee (2017), 2016 World Youth Days. Today, Kraków is also a global stage for over 3,000 industry conferences and congresses (2019) covering technology startups, social and environmental changemakers, academic and scientific events, all the way to international industry fairs.
