The event constitutes an educational platform, a forum for sharing opinions, and an attempt at finding solutions for issues of particular importance for the industry. The idea behind Meetings Week Poland is also to emphasise the meetings sector’s significance for national economy and to showcase its autonomy and value for achieving business objectives.

From Monday to Friday you will be able to attend educational and networking meetings held as part of events arranged by leading associations, organisations and trade media.

Polish Tourism Organisation, together with The Warsaw Voice, is the co-organiser of a conference staged as part of the Poland – Meetings Destination series, opening this year’s round of Meetings Week Poland. The conference is aimed at inspiring industry leaders with the most noteworthy projects implemented at home and abroad plus at discussing the most essential topics in the sector in question, including issues of strategic significance for its future in Poland.

The first part of the meetings, immediately following the inaugural speech, will be dedicated to examples of good practices and successes in obtaining and staging major projects such as WADA’s 2019 World Conference on Doping in Sport in Katowice or the 23rd International Congress of Historical Sciences to be held in Poznań in 2020. In addition, examples from abroad will be presented by Pier Paolo Mariotti, Vice President, European Cities Marketing (ECM) and Roman Muska, Managing Director, Prague Convention Bureau - announced Aneta Książek, Chief Conference Expert, Polish Tourism Organisation.

The Meetings Week Poland will also encompass a meeting of Poland Convention Bureau POT with its counterparts representing particular cities and regions.

The event will culminate with the ceremonious MP Power Award Gala promoting professionalism of the event industry and building awareness of the merit of tools within its scope.

This year’s edition of Meetings Week Poland will be held under the honorary patronage of Dariusz Rogowski, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Sport of Tourism, with Polish Tourism Organisation among its official partners.
