Eventprofs Creators Lab - special edition for ERASMUS students in Warsaw

Nearly twenty students from Poland, Spain, and Portugal had the opportunity to participate in our innovative educational project known as the "Eventprofs Creators Lab" (#eventprofsLAB).

Department of Tourism and Recreation at the Józef Piłsudski University of Physical Education in Warsaw

Throughout the day, in the conference room of the Polish Tourist Organization, representatives from  Poland Convention Bureau conducted two educational sessions:

  • Aneta Ksiazek shared her rich experience and knowledge. Her presentation covered key aspects related to promoting Poland as an attractive destination for international events and meetings. She also emphasized the significant role played by convention bureaus on the international stage and their responsibilities in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) sector. The Head of the Poland Convention Bureau PTO provided a detailed overview of how convention bureaus support various entities in the MICE industry by offering valuable tools and assistance in securing events, conferences, and trade shows, including the ICCA congress in Krakow. Her presentation offered valuable insights into global trends and best practices related to promoting cities, regions, and countries in the context of international events, which undoubtedly served as inspiration for the present tourism students.
  • Jarosław Marciuk presented a lecture on personal branding and explained the significant role of the LinkedIn social platform in building a professional personal image. He emphasized the importance of using tools such as LinkedIn, especially for young professionals, to develop their careers and establish valuable professional connections. Additionally, during his presentation, he discussed e-marketing strategies employed in promoting Poland as an attractive destination for international events. He detailed how a website, social media, and participation in trade shows are key elements in promoting the country. By employing modern e-marketing tools, the Poland Convention Bureau can reach a broad audience of potential clients, event organizers, and companies interested in hosting conferences, congresses, and other meetings.

Film promocyjny POLAND. More than you expected

During this special event, participants also had the opportunity to collectively watch the latest promotional video of the Polish Tourist Organization, "POLAND. More than you expected." The film not only served as an excellent illustration of Poland's richness and diversity but also encouraged exploration of its unique attractions. Students were immersed in picturesque landscapes, witnessed exceptional cities, and were introduced to the cultural diversity that Poland has to offer.

Following the screening of the video, participants learned about the impressions it left on students from the Iberian Peninsula. The stunning Polish landscapes and beautiful natural surroundings made the most significant impact on the young audience. Views of mountains, lakes, and forests captivated the students, who unexpectedly experienced the natural beauty of Poland.

Moreover, Poland's exceptional cities, rich in history and culture, also impressed the students. Their charm, historical architecture, and atmosphere full of stories served as an inspiration for further travels and explorations. The promotional video not only brought the participants closer to the charms of Poland but also inspired them to consider Poland as an attractive destination for organizing future trips.

The video "POLAND. More than you expected" not only provided information about Poland but also initiated discussions and reflections on its attractiveness as a destination. For many participants of the #eventprofsLAB project, it became a source of inspiration for further exploration of Poland and its possibilities in the context of international events. We also discussed how Katowice has been promoted worldwide through events such as ESL - Intel Extreme Masters Katowice.
