1000 crowns for 1000 ICCA delegates

ICCA_BMA_1On 22 – 26  October the 50th ICCA Congress & Exhibition in Leipzig took place, during which the presentations of the three finalists in the ICCA Best Marketing Award contest: Glasgow Glasgow City Marketing & SECC, China Star Ltd oraz Poland Convention Bureau Polish Tourist Organisation  were held. For the first time Polish project has been so highly praised by the judges.

The ICCA Best Marketing Award is an international distinction for the best marketing campaign for a region or product. Previous winners have included:

  •  Iceland Convention and Incentive Bureau
  •  Norway Convention Bureau
  •  Sarawak Convention Bureau, Malaysia

The Poland Convention Bureau presented its activities of the last two years in the fields of promotion, international cooperation and the creation of new ideas.

An important point in the presentation was introducing the audience to the advertising campaign on three markets carried out by the Polish Tourist Organisation, within the framework of which the Polish meetings industry is promoted. The campaign was recognised for its synergies, coherence, and professionalism.

Each of the participants of the presentation received a crown, so that they could feel special, just like Kate, who visits Poland in the campaign. This gift could be kept, or returned to be donated to local nursery schools.

The 50th ICCA Congress & Exhibition attracted over 1000 representatives from round the world. It featured many educational and networking sessions in the most interesting fields of the meetings industry. It is a perfect occasion to establish new contacts and to take advantage of the know-how and experience of participants.
Participants also attended a post-conference programme, including sightseeing in Leipzig, excursions, and theme events.
