10 years of the Poland Convention Bureau
We started an advertising campaign for the Polish Tourist Organisation on priority markets, which consisted of promoting the Polish meetings industry. Through the campaign, advertisements appeared in the foreign press, an advertising commercial was created, a newspaper supplement was published, and many other essential and appealing promotional tools were applied.
Within the campaign, we succeeded in to organising a series of Roadshow presentations and Fam Trip events for representatives of the industry, and actively promoted Poland during the IMEX fair in Frankfurt.
Reaching the finals of the ICCA Best Marketing Award competition for rebranding the image of the meetings industry was a significant achievement, together with a presentation to 1000 participants during the ICCA Congress in Leipzig.
PCB PTO in 2011 received a particularly distinguishing accreditation within the Destination Marketing Association Programme, which is granted to institutions responsible for destinations promotion. In order to obtain the certificate, it is necessary to demonstrate dependability in the undertaken actions and to meet a number of accreditation requirements.
