Warsaw for computer programmers
The site inspection programme was arranged as indicated by the organisers, seeking a facility allowing the flexible arrangement of 100 computer stations for groups of 3 players, 5* and 4* hotels, and interesting places for organising galas, and for starting and ending games. Therefore during the site inspection were checked out
venues, where competitions could be held out (and available in 2012): Torwar Sports Centre, The Library of the University of Warsaw, and the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw;
hotels: Hilton Warsaw Hotel & Convention Centre, Jan III Sobieski, The Westin Warsaw, InterContinental Warszawa, Radisson Blu;
venues for galas: Kubicki Arcades in the Royal Castle, Copernicus Science Centre, The Congress Hall of Palace of Culture and Science and Phirharmonic.
Very important parts of the site inspection were official meetings with the Minister of Science and Higher Education Mrs. Barbara Kudrycka, Deputy Minister of Economy Mr. Dariusz Bogdan and Mayor of Warsaw Mrs. Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, declaring support for the computer programming competition in Warsaw in 2012.
