220 wheelbarrows of sand, 280 wheelbarrows of soil, 300 wheelbarrows of bark, 160 pairs of gloves and 360 hours of work during 3 days – there are just some of details of the project IMEX Challenge Poland 2010, which purpose was to help Foster House in Warsaw - Wesoła.
Volunteers from nine countries within a few days of September rebuilt the garden, built a playground and recreational facilities. They also funded the scholarships with a value of 4000 euro spent English lessons, hippotherapy and speech therapy. While working in Warsaw, the family rested on a trip to Krakow, recognizing the beauty of historic places of the city.
IMEX Challenge Poland 2010 is an innovative project on corporate social responsibility, which was organized in Warsaw for the first time in history. It allows professionals in meetings industry (both planners and suppliers) to support of the local community through direct involvement and individual work.
Besides helping, which was awarded a big smile of children, participants had the opportunity to do sightseeing of Warsaw and its region, as well as recognize the conference infrastructure and ideas for organizing incentive travels in Poland.
