Polish Tourism Organisation took part in FERIE FOR ALLE, Scandinavia’s largest trade fair, with the Polish stand promoting the highlights of Poznań and businesses from the Zachodniopomorskie region (Western Pomerania). More than 63,000 spectators visited the event.

The Danish city of Herning on the Jutland peninsula hosted the FERIE FOR ALLE fair on 21-23 February. Polish Tourism Organisation (Polska Organizacja Turystyczna - POT) participated and its International Office in Stockholm hosted the Polish stand and prepared an extensive promotion of our country’s tourist offer.

This year’s exhibition displayed at the Polish stand additionally featured, i.a. the highlights of Poznań showcased by the Poznań Local Tourist Organisation (Poznańska Lokalna Organizacja Turystyczna - PLOT), whose efforts were inspired by Ryanair reinstating regular flights between Billund and Poznań. Represented by Żegluga Szczecińska Turystyka Wydarzenia Sp. z o.o., "Uzdrowisko Świnoujście" S.A. and Trzy Wyspy Hotel & SPA in Świnoujście, the region of Zachodniopomorskie was also heavily promoted.

Obviously, there was no shortage of attractions focused on food and leisure. Szczecin delegates invited everyone to tasting sessions of a local specialty, the paprykarz szczeciński fish spread, while Hotel Trzy Wyspy staff offered free hand massages. Everyone interested could also take part in a competition testing their knowledge of Poland, with two weekend stays for two in Poznań and Świnoujście, funded by PLOT and Trzy Wyspy Hotel & SPA, going to lucky winners. 

Visitors to the general section inquired about the Tri-City, Kraków and Zakopane, Wrocław, national parks, cycling trails and, quite frequently, camping sites. After all, Danish travellers are particularly fond of caravan trips. Questions about new noteworthy places on the map of Poland provided a nice accent showing that Jutland residents keep coming back to Poland.

Finally, the Polish offer was showcased in two other sections of MCH Messecenter Herning - Billund Airport’s stand featured a counter operated by PLL LOT promoting, i.a. its direct Billund-Warsaw flights, while visitors to the golf hall could learn more about the golf offer of Zachodniopomorskie, where PG Modry Las Golf Club & Resort reigns supreme as holder of the PGA National Poland title, followed by Binowo Park GC and Amber Baltic GC.
