Poland Promoted at Business Traveller & MICE Fair 2021 Workshop in Amsterdam
The Polish Tourism Organisation (POT) International Office in Amsterdam took part in the Business Traveller & MICE Fair 2021 workshop held at the Corendon Plaza Hotel in Amsterdam.
During this year’s event, which took place on 25 October, Poland’s offering was presented by the POT office in Amsterdam and LOT Polish Airlines. Participants got the opportunity to see a multimedia presentation produced by the Polish Tourism Organisation – Poland Convention Bureau, showcasing Poland’s strengths and assets as a MICE industry destination.
“During B2B meetings, questions about Wrocław were the most frequent”, said Dominika Szulc, director of the POT offices in Amsterdam and Brussels. The capital of Lower Silesia recently gained direct KLM flights to Amsterdam and is the next city on the map of Poland, alongside Warsaw and Kraków, to attract the interest of Dutch MICE industry professionals. Those interested were invited to a fam trip to Wrocław, which has been scheduled for 16–18 December 2021.
The event’s organiser was MICE and Business Travel magazine, which chose our country for The Best MICE Destination award in 2019. The main exhibitors are entities representing regions and cities, congress agencies, airlines, airports, hotels, event agencies, and car rental businesses. The Business Traveller & MICE Fair is held in the form of B2B meetings. The event is dedicated to professionals in search of new business opportunities, including partners from the Benelux countries as well as the rest of the world.
