The second edition of the Marco Polo Award ceremony will take place during the 6^th High-level Meeting on Tourism Cooperation of China and CEE countries, to be held in Athens, Greece in October 2020. The Award will acknowledge private tourism stakeholders (e.g. tour operators, travel agencies). 

The discussed distinction is aimed at top tourism products that showcase the local history, tradition and culture of 17 Central and Eastern European destinations and encompass confirmed stays of Chinese guests in at least three countries. In addition to, i.a. tour operators and travel agents, the project is also open to hotel operators.

In the Award’s first edition second place was secured by the Warsaw CT Poland travel agency, with gold diploma going to the Fly Montenegro Travel agency from Montenegro, and bronze diploma - to Hungary’s Long Teng agency.
