The 13th International Autism-Europe Congress is a place to share expertise and promote a positive way of talking about the autism spectrum. The theme of the Congress is "A Happy Journey Through Life" - to emphasize the importance of a scientific approach to autism from the perspective of the entire life of an individual on the spectrum. Central to this approach is promoting the well-being of all autistic people.

The scientific program includes talks by scientific authorities and autistic people, a variety of symposium topics, interactive poster sessions, workshops led by leading practitioners and discussion sessions that will pose difficult and often controversial questions. During the Congress, people on the spectrum and their caregivers will be able to share their stories, experiences and point out their needs. We will ensure that their voice is heard and that they can point to necessary directions for change.
