At the invitation of Polish Tourism Organisation, the Dutch crew of the popular Rail Away TV show stayed in Dolny Śląsk (Lower Silesia) on 22-30 September. The episode dedicated to Poland will showcase the region’s most attractive railway stations and routes.

Staged by Polish Tourism Organisation, a fam trip for journalists from United Arab Emirates was intended to promote Warsaw and the region of Warmia and Mazury (Masuria) as alternatives to well-established Kraków and Zakopane.

Polish Tourism Organisation took part in the Choca los Cinco series of roadshow workshops. Already well-known among the Spanish industry, the meetings acted as an opportunity to promote Poland’s inbound tourism, with particular emphasis on the historical cities of Kraków, Wrocław, Warsaw, Poznań and Gdańsk, which this year was recognised with the Princess of Asturias 2019 award.

Łódź was the destination of six bloggers and Instagram influencers from Italy invited by Polish Tourism Organisation. Guests from the Apennine Peninsula actively toured the city and participated in the Light Move Festival.

The Stockholm-based edition of Seniormässan, a trade show centred on health tourism with particular emphasis on the needs of senior citizens, was staged on 1-3 October. The Polish presence was arranged as part of a project promoting health-targeted services (sub-measure 3.3.2. Smart Growth Operational Programme “Promotion of economy based on Polish brand products – Polish Economy Brand”).

Qi Wei visited Poland in early October, when the top Chinese actress and singer spent several days in Warsaw filming special video footage and travelled to Southern Poland to shoot a music video.

At Medical Travel Exhibition and Conference staged in Kyiv on 1-3 October Polish Tourism Organisation promoted the health-targeted offer of Polish resorts, spa & wellness venues, and hospitals.

IFTM Top Resa trade show wrapped up in Paris, where our national stand promoted Polish travel industry entrepreneurs and a trip staged by POT and Czech Tourisme for bloggers and YouTube personalities won accolades.

The efforts of Polish Tourism Organisation brought Chinese TV personality Wu Xin to Poland. The popular TV host is the second Chinese celebrity, after actress and singer Qi Wei, to recently visit our country.

The stylish interiors of Consulate General of the Republic of Poland at Madison Avenue in New York hosted the “Visit Poland in 2020” presentation aimed at journalists and travel agents. Polish Tourism Organisation applied the event to promote the latest tourist offer of our country.
