Broadcast for 25 years on the NPO 2 TV channel, the Rail Away show dedicated its January episode to rail journeys across the region of Dolny Śląsk (Lower Silesia). Dutch journalists visited Poland at the invitation of Polish Tourism Organisation.

Arab Health in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), the largest event dedicated to healthcare services and products to be staged in the Middle East, has wrapped up. This year’s edition was staged on 27-30 January and drew more than 4,000 exhibitors from more than 60 countries.

Polish Tourism Organisation promoted our country at the MATKA Nordic Travel Fair in Helsinki, the largest event in the Scandinavian market to be aimed at industry professionals and customers. For another year in a row it has attracted tens of thousands of people interested in the exhibited offer.

The jubilee 40th anniversary edition of FITUR trade fair in Madrid successfully attracted travel industry representatives from all over the region. The national stand arranged by Polish Tourism Organisation featured a wide range of attractions, including chocolate shows by the Wierzynek Restaurant.

LOT Polish Airlines in cooperation with Polish Tourism Organisation International Office in Beijing staged a promotional gala aimed at travel industry representatives. The evening event was intended to celebrate the route from Beijing to Warsaw recently introduced by Poland’s flag carrier. The meeting also showcased the diversity of Poland’s tourist assets.

In the first three quarters of 2019 our country was visited by 8.2% foreign tourists more than in the first nine months of 2018. The greatest growth rate was recorded in the South Korean market - 67.3%.  

Polish Tourism Organisation conducted a highly successful promotional campaign applying the Pinterest platform. Aimed at the UK market, the campaign’s goal was to get through with its message to people looking for holiday inspirations.

Polish Tourism Organisation brought the Time for Poland photo exhibition to Belgium to promote 16 Polish regions’ key assets related to nature and active tourism. The comprehensive exhibition travelled through Flanders for six months together with Armoured Wings, an exhibition presenting the accomplishments of the 1st Armoured Division commanded by General Stanisław Maczek.
